For security reasons, please use discretion when sharing the door code with others.

Noise levels in the CBD reduce after 11pm.
Please be mindful of this and keep music and guest behaviour at a respectful level.
Any attendance from Noise Control, Police, or a directive to cease music or close the event is the responsibility of the hirer.

Guests may step outside briefly to smoke or vape.
However:
Drinks are not permitted outside
Hanging out or gathering outside is not permitted
The street and footpath are public property.

Take a ticket from the entry machine
Park only in bays marked GREEN – Public Parking

Exiting the Carpark
When leaving:
Insert the validated ticket into the self-pay machine
Pay via EFTPOS, credit card, or cash
Exit as normal
After 11pm, the carpark may be locked.

All parking tickets must be validated inside BRAD’S before exiting the carpark.
The validation machine is located at the ground-floor entrance.
To validate:
Insert the ticket fully
Hold the ticket completely still
Wait while the barcode is stamped
You will see:
Green light → Red light = successful validation
⚠️ Do not move the ticket while it is stamping.
If the barcode becomes blurred or damaged, Wilson Parking may charge a fee when exiting.

Short-term drop-offs are permitted directly outside BRAD’S.
Use the laneway beside the building for loading and unloading.
Please note:
This is a shared laneway
Access must remain clear at all times
Vehicles must unload and move on immediately
No standing, waiting, or parking in the laneway
⚠️ Vehicles that double park do so at their own risk.
Parking wardens regularly patrol the area.All crew vehicles should park at Wilson Parking – 5 Durham Lane.

Our in-house team manages most waste during events. However, if you need to dispose of rubbish while packing in or packing out, please use the following bins.

All rubbish must be disposed of in the bins located outside the First Floor white fire exit doors (left side):660L Recycling Bin

If the bins are full:
Please bag any remaining rubbish.
Leave the bags inside by the Ground Floor front double doors and our team will dispose of them.
Please ensure the following:
All rubbish is bagged securely.
Cans, bottles, packaging, and food waste are collected and placed in the appropriate bins.
No loose rubbish is left around the venue.
Thank you for helping keep the venue clean and safe.
If you want, I can also make a shorter “client pack-in version” (about 30% shorter) which is usually better for event run sheets or venue hire guides.

Ground Floor
The ground floor and entrance light switch is located to the left of the main doors.
First Floor
First floor lighting is controlled via the panel located in the store room next to the Women’s Bathrooms.
To enter:
Use the door code 1862 and turn the handle anti-clockwise.
Inside you will find three switches on dimmers, allowing you to control and adjust lighting throughout the space.

The walk-in chiller runs 24/7.
Please feel free to use it during your event and leave it switched on when you depart.
The smaller chiller on the left is reserved for BRAD’S beverage storage and is not available for guest use.

The skylights can be opened using the steel pole located at the back right of the First Floor.
To open:
Use the pole to push the bottom of the skylight upward to prise it open.
To close:
Use the same pole to pull the shutters back down.
Please note:
The mechanism can be a little tricky

⚠️ One skylight does not open.
This is the shutter closest to the top of the stairs on the entry side and has been intentionally sealed. -
BRAD’S has a professionally installed house sound system, managed by our team and our AV partner Livewire.
The iPad upstairs in the cupboard is hardwired to the sound system and has Spotify installed, allowing simple control of background music throughout the venue.
For in-house managed events, our team and production partners will take care of the music and sound throughout the event.
If you would like to play background music during pack-in or set-up, we can show you how to use the system on arrival.
If Livewire AV are supporting your event, they will manage and integrate the system with your event production, so you won’t need to think about the audio setup at all.
The BRAD’S Technical Rider is also attached for key production details.

The air-conditioning remotes will be set aside on the bar and back-of-house table.
To turn the units on:
Stand directly underneath the unit
Point the remote straight up at the machine
Press ON
They are already set to the appropriate temperature for the season.
When BRAD’S is managing your event, you don’t need to think about the temperature — we’ll monitor and adjust it throughout the event. Just let us know if anything doesn’t feel quite right.

If you need to access the venue from the Wilson car park at the rear of the building, please follow the steps below.
Accessing the Rear Door
Enter through the front red door of the venue.
Walk through to the rear of the building toward the Wilson car park.
The rear door is secured with a chain and keypad lock.
To unlock:
Enter the code 1862 on the keypad.
Remove the chain and open the door.
Please place the chain and keypad in the storage cupboard next to the women’s bathroom while the door is in use.
You are welcome to use this access point as often as needed during pack-in or setup.
Car Parking
There is a car park directly outside this door which is marked “Reserved.”
This is our allocated park, and you are welcome to use it.
The park beside it is a fire exit and should not have a vehicle left in it.
However, brief drop-offs are fine if you need to unload quickly.
Door Security
As this rear door is not monitored, please follow these simple security steps:
Use the door for unloading and pack-in only.
There is a small stone available to hold the door open while unloading.
Once you have finished unpacking, secure the door again immediately.
Please do not leave the door open unattended, as the car park is publicly accessible and this may allow uninvited visitors to enter the building.

If you need to do any cleaning during setup:
Brooms and a mop are available in the storage cupboard next to the women’s bathroom.
You’re welcome to use these for any quick clean-ups during pack-in.

For clients or teams carrying out corporate installs or independent pack-outs, please ensure the venue is secured before leaving.
There are three key doors to check:
1. Green Exit Doors (Ground Floor)
Ensure the doors are fully closed and secured.
Please return the key, chain, and keypad to the padlock as found.
2. Upper Floor Side Doors
Check both side doors.
When closing them, pull the door shut and then push firmly to ensure it is properly latched.
3. Final Exit
Exit the venue via the same single red door you entered through.
